Artist Vision

I believe in the extraordinary power of art for social change.

How?

By changing the consciousness.

Not many people know that:

* everything is created by the consciousness
* one of the spiritual laws is positive attracts positive

What is consciousness? It is conscious and subconscious programs: beliefs, feelings, memories, etc., which we have put in our mind mainly unconsciously. When we let go of our negative subconscious programs, not simply we become more positive and we attract more good things in life, but we raise the vibrations of the global consciousness.

My vision is to help with my art bring about a positive change in the world in various areas, as I will explain below, by shifting the consciousness. I will also organize workshops in the future; for information please email at info@pgcoaching.co.uk

Artist Statement

My art comes from 'somewhere else'. When I begin a painting I often do not know what is going to come out; if I try to control it with the mind it blocks the flow of intuition, of inspiration, of creativity, of Spirit; or if I have somewhat an idea, I need to let go of the how it is going to manifest; I feel the color is right, then I let the painting flow. I know I need to get out of the way and allow the message contained in the paintings to emerge.

I began painting about 12 years ago as a search to express myself and create something with my hands. I remember I was just back from 3 years of voluntary work where I met a very good friend from Germany; I remember she used to do many crafty things with the hands - they do that from school in Germany - I was not used to that at all and I admired her and I wanted to try to create something. And I do not remember what happened, why I chose painting, but I do remember going into a DIY shop in Italy asking for a canvas - and I had no idea of how to paint, I just started it.

I couldn't have imagined how important painting would have become for me. Painting is part of me; it is spiritual, it is an expression of my soul, it is what my soul has to say, it is something like: I have to paint and if I don’t I feel I am repressing a message that has to come out; and it enables me to bring about a positive change in the world by creating paintings that help make a shift in consciousness.

My paintings are an attempt to bring about a shift in consciousness in various areas: from the way we perceive ourselves to be, to the way we perceive each other, to how we treat ourselves, to how we treat each other, to healing, to healing in the heart, to who we truly are, to our real power, to how we relate in the corporate arena, to how we can bring about a change, and more.

They are mystical and can help you connect with transcendence, with your depths, with your soul; they express feelings and are an attempt to catch divine beauty. Per metaphysics, they can also help you manifest your reality. And I believe some of my paintings can help the healing in the sense that I believe healing does not come from the person but from a Higher Realm, be it God or however one wishes to call it, and it is necessary to get out of the conscious mind and let go of the subconscious patterns in order to allow it to happen. And they can help you let go of the subconscious patterns as you look at them, as you dive into them without analyzing with your conscious mind what it represents, what it means: just feel, release. Let go and let God. I also believe that they can bring about healing in the heart of the individuals and society as some of my paintings can help the person know how infinitely precious and loved they are and who we all are.

I am a self-taught artist and it could be an advantage for my kind of paintings, but for the ‘ego mind’ which wants to control, wants to know, wants ‘perfection’, it was not; I really needed to learn to let the paintings emerge and get out of the way.  And having a degree in mathematics, my mind was very analytical, controlling and also perfectionist; and when we try to control the outcome, we block everything. I remember when I did the first paintings I was very judgmental; then studying hypnosis, NLP, metaphysics, the Release Technique and other principles, and I do a lot of meditation as well, I began to let go of judgment and trust the flow. To me painting is like experiencing a 'peak experience'; it is about learning to get out of the way of Spirit and allow the painting to emerge; and as I do that I feel deep peace and joy.

Enjoy!
