The Creative Process

It is not me doing the painting.

I need to totally disappear.

I need to let go of control, of wanting to know, of trying to figure out, of judgment, of fear.

I need to surrender, trust, allow it, follow the energy.

It is a Force that takes over and leaves me at times totally exhausted.

My paintings have an identity completely separate from me, they have their own consciousness and widsom, I am just a vehicle for them to appear.
